Crucible coaches competitive athletes, experienced lifters and people who simply want to become stronger, move well and train to stay healthy.
Your starting point matters much less than having training that makes sense for where you are and where you want to go.
-
The right membership will depend on your training goals, personal schedule, how often you’d like to train and current class availability.
You can view the different training and membership options on our Memberships page, including what’s included and how each option works.
If you’re unsure which is the best fit, get in touch with the team. We’re happy to talk through your goals, availability and training preferences and help you choose the most suitable option.

Your first week is on us!
Come in, meet the coaches and experience how Crucible trains before deciding whether it’s right for you.
Before your first session, we’ll send through the available class times and book you into a Small Group session that works for you. Your coach will show you around, talk through your training background and goals, and take you through a trial program aligned with what you’re looking to achieve.
It’s a chance to experience the coaching, programming and training environment properly, while giving the coaching team an opportunity to see how you move and learn a little more about you.
If you’re new to the gym and would prefer some one-on-one time before joining a class, just let us know. We can arrange that too.

Comfortable training clothes, enclosed shoes and a water bottle. If you already train with sport-specific footwear or equipment (belts, wrist wraps, knee sleeves etc), bring whatever you would normally use.

Athletes are a significant part of who we work with.
The coaching team has particular expertise in Olympic weightlifting and strength sports, including powerlifting, alongside broader strength and conditioning for athletes.
For competitive lifters, coaching can extend well beyond day-to-day sessions. That can include individualised programming, technical development, competition preparation and having a Crucible coach with you on competition day to manage warm-ups and support you through your lifts.
For athletes outside strength sports, training can be developed around the physical demands of your sport, your competition calendar and the work you're already doing elsewhere.

We'll start with a consultation to understand the injury, your current rehabilitation and any recommendations from the health professionals involved in your care. Where appropriate, our team can liaise with your treating professionals and complete a movement assessment as part of your first sessions.
Fully personalised programming will generally be recommended in these situations, allowing your training to be developed alongside your rehabilitation and adjusted as things progress.

We coach teens and teen athletes. The right training environment depends on the individual.
Crucible runs dedicated Teen Athlete sessions, while some younger athletes train within regular Small Group sessions depending on their age, experience and goals.
Get in touch and the coaching team can help determine the most appropriate option.

Offered by arrangement.
First-time visitors generally train during staffed hours so we can meet you, show you through the facility and get you settled before you train.
If you're visiting Brisbane, passing through, or simply looking for somewhere properly equipped to complete a session, get in touch beforehand and we'll organise it with you.
